This invention relates to a two stage hydroprocessing process with stripping zones (20) and (40) between the hydroprocessing zones (12) and (32) and following the last hydroprocessing zone. The stripping occurs at high pressure and temperature with no disengagement between or following the hydroprocessing zones. There is recycle of high temperature gaseous effluent (44) from the last stripping zone (40) to the first stripping zone (20).
