<p>The invention relates to a stopper rod actuator for displacement and positioning of the rod in desired positions. The actuator comprises a carrier (7), which is mountable on a stand (5) and which, when it is mounted on the stand, exends from the stand, which carrier in one end thereof carries a fixed hauling path unit (45), a holder (16) including members (31-33) provided to keep the stopper rod by a firm grip, which holder is moveable along and relative to the hauling path unit, and motion devices (14, 55, 58, 60) for the displacement of the holder and thence of the stopper rod relative to the hauling path unit in the direction of the holder for said displacement and positioning of the rod in desired positions.</p> |
