<p>The name of an application program, storage location information, and a download flag (F) are contained in an application management table (TBL) stored in a table area (14b) of an EEPROM (14) of a mobile telephone (MS). The flag (F) indicates whether or not the application is a downloaded one. A CPU (11) changes the value of the download flag corresponding to an application program downloaded from an IP server (W) to 1 .
