<p>A needle selector of jacquard machine in which the forward end side (20a) of a hook (20) is formed to bend through contact with a longitudinal needle selector (5) advancing into the course P of the hook (20) in order to enhance durability, reliability of needle selection (reliability of opening operation), and load resistance. Furthermore, a member (17) for stopping the bent part (23) of the hook (20) is provided in order to displace the hook (20) and a carrying member (13) relatively. When the carrying members (13, 43) are separated from the hook selectors (5, 35) under a state where the forward end side (20a, 50a) of the hooks (20, 50) bent through contact with the hooks selectors (5, 35) are stopped at the stop members (17, 47), relative displacement takes place between the hooks (20, 50) and the carrying members (13, 43). Since the hooks (20, 50) not touching the hook selectors (5, 35) are not stopped at the stop members (17, 47), the hook selectors (5, 35) are separated along with the carrying members (13, 43) and relative displacement does not takes place between the hooks (20, 50) and the carrying members (13, 43) and opening operation of warp can be carried out.</p> |
