Hard-faced bricks can be cut by a hammer blow without power consumption. The hammer and the highgrade hardened steel blade replace electric saw. A measuring tape is fitted for brick sizing. In operation a cutting block is set to the front end of the cutting rail with its fitted tape. The brick is fixed in place and then struck off from above by the hammer etc to give exact brick size.
