PURPOSE: A reach typed electric forklift for driving and steering a rear wheel is provided to prevent wear of a rear wheel and to improve travelling safety. CONSTITUTION: An electric forklift of a reach type for driving and steering a rear wheel comprises a master assembly formed on a front face of a 4-wheel drive electric forklift; a fork(3) mounted on the 4-wheel drive electric forklift; a steering wheel installed on a driver's seat; a battery mounted on a lower portion of the driver's seat; front and rear wheels(6,7) fixed on a lower portion of the 4 wheels electric forklift; a steering shaft connected to a hydraulic pump; a steering cylinder(9) controlled by the steering wheel to steer the rear wheel; a piston rod(8,8a) stirred according to changed amount of the hydraulic pressure of the steering cylinder; brackets(9,9a) fixed on the rear wheels; and links(10,10a) rotationally fixed on the brackets. |
