DISPLAY TUBE FOR JOINT-TYPE LARGE SCREEN

A display tube for joint-type large screen includes an electron gun, a panel and a glass funnel. The panel is composed of a flat glass plate and a metal skirt. On the inner surface of the flat glass plate, a plurality of columns and a plurality of rows of pixel separated by the black matrix are disposed. A step is formed on the inner side of the metal skirt. The side of the top step seals with the flat glass plate and its bottom plane seals with the top of the glass funnel. The electron gun is a single electron beam gun and is accommodated in the glass funnel. A parallel strip-like alignment electrode is positioned between two columns of the pixel. Because using the step-like metal skirt construction and the alignment electrode, the performance in joint is improved, and scan line is made straighter. It helps to reduce the pixel size and improves the definition.
