METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR FURNISHING INFORMATION ON ARTICLE BY USING BARCODE NUMBERS THROUGH WIRELESS INTERNET

PURPOSE: A method and a system for furnishing the information on an article by using barcode numbers through the wireless Internet are provided to quickly and correctly transfer the information on an article to a client on the spot in real time. CONSTITUTION: A client(20) requests for the information on an article corresponding to the barcode numbers by using a user agent or a barcode reader user agent built in a wireless mobile communication device. The request data of the client is transferred to a wireless Internet gateway(30) through the wireless Internet. The wireless Internet gateway requests a web server(50) for the article information corresponding to the barcode numbers. The web server extracts expert communication number data corresponding to the barcode number and performs a communication with the client and an article expert. The wireless Internet gateway and the client are connected via the wireless Internet. The wireless Internet gateway and the web server are connected via the cable Internet. The barcode numbers are transferred to the wireless Internet gateway for the connection with the expert.
