PURPOSE: A method for dispersing detergent of a washing machine is provided to disperse detergent evenly using minimum amount of centrifugal force, to increase a washing efficiency by sufficiently dissolving detergent, and to increase reliability of the washing machine. CONSTITUTION: A method for dispersing detergent of a washing machine includes the steps of sensing an amount of clothing, inserting detergent corresponding to the amount of clothing, rotating a wash tub to a rotation speed set by a user to obtain centrifugal force to sufficiently disperse the inserted detergent, stopping the rotation of the wash tub and supplying water to a water level corresponding to the sensed amount of clothing. |
