Method and system for speech recognition for a small size implement

Selected words of a speech-recognition vocabulary are spoken into the unit, which is e.g. a mobile phone. Speech data corresponding with the spoken words is then transmitted to a central server (AS) in the telecommunication network. Here it is processed in a speaker- or vocabulary matching unit, using a user-specific, speech data set stored by the server. Results of processing are transmitted back and stored in the speech data memory of the mobile phone. An Independent claim is included for suitable equipment.
