PURPOSE: A core material for an interior door is provided, which core material is constructed inside of the door to prevent the twisting of a door, to increase the lifetime and to allow the core material to be fixed to the door firmly by a screw nail. CONSTITUTION: The core material comprises 83 wt% of a poly(vinyl chloride) resin; 10 wt% of a stabilizer; 6.6 wt% of a filler; 0.3 wt% of a foaming agent; and 0.1 wt% of a dye. The core material is prepared by foaming molding the mixture at a temperature of 170 deg.C for 9 min.
