Casting chamber comprises: an outer casing (2); an inner cylinder (3) inserting into and connected with the outer casing; and an electrical heater (5) arranged between the casing and the cylinder to heat the chamber. The heater extends over at least part of the axial length of the chamber. Preferred Features: The heater extends over the whole of the axial length of the chamber. The heater surrounds the inner cylinders over an axial partial section of the casting chamber. The electrical connections for the heater lie on the machine side of the chamber. |
