METHOD OF DATA TRANSMISSION FOR SOFT COMBINE IN ASYNCHRONOUS MOBILE COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A method of data transmission for soft combine in an asynchronous mobile communication system is provided to control a retransmission operation by using differently a coding rate of a corresponding transmission block according to a state of soft combine in a receiving part. CONSTITUTION: Transmission blocks and additional information for a corresponding transmission channel are received from an RLC layer(S301). The re-transmission blocks are searched from the transmission blocks(S302). The transmission block prior to the re-transmission block is checked(S303) within a corresponding transmission period. The re-transmitted block is set up as the first transmission block within the corresponding transmission period(S304). An initial transmission state is checked if the first transmission block is not set up within the corresponding transmission period(S305,S306). The corresponding transmission blocks is set up as the first transmission block if the initial transmission state is detected(S307). The remaining transmission blocks are set up(S308).
