PURPOSE: A starting clutch outer and sub assembly and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to reduce a manufacturing cost by adopting a sintering process of metal powder, and to achieve the homogeneity of quality. CONSTITUTION: The manufacturing method of the starting clutch outer and sub assembly comprises: a step of quantifying metal powder composed of Ni:0.5 to 5.0 wt percent, Cu:0.5 to 3.0 wt percent, Mo:0.2 to 1.5 wt percent, C: max. 1.5 wt percent, and a mixture of W, V, Cr, Nb: max. 1.5 wt percent, and other Fe; a step of mixing the metal powder uniformly; a compression molding step of the mixed metal powder using a press; a sintering step of the molded metal powder; and an after-treatment step such as a heat treatment.
