PURPOSE: A method of processing tobacco leaf by using Glycyrrhizae Radix, Glycine max L. Merr., malt, acorn and mung beans is provided. Whereby, low toxicity tobacco which is low in a harmful material content such as nicotine, carbon monoxide or the like is obtained. CONSTITUTION: A mixture of 1 to 5 parts by weight of Glycyrrhizae Radix, 1 to 5 parts by weight of Glycine max L. Merr., 1 to 5 parts by weight of malt, 0.1 to 2 parts by weight of acorn and 0.2 to 2 parts by weight of mung beans is extracted in 100 parts by weight of water and cultured with a microorganism complex formulation to produce a culture solution. Thereafter, the culture solution is sprayed on a tobacco leaf or the tobacco leaf is soaked in the culture solution. The microorganism complex formulation is one or more selected from the group consisting of Lactobacillus sp., Issatchenkia occidentalis and Saccharomyces cerevisiae.
