<p>A decorative light, such as a Christmas tree light, has a holder 10, a lamp base 20 and a lightbulb 30. Electrical lead contacts 13 are held in slots in a bore 11 of the holder 10. Substantially cylindrical lugs 12 extend from the external periphery of the holder 10 and serve to hold power cables 40 in place. The lamp base 20 holds a bulb 30 which has wires 31 extending from its base which contact the lead contacts 13 in the holder 10. L-shaped arms 22 project from the lamp base 20 and engage with the lugs 12 of the holder 10 to complete a cylindrical shape. Notches 221 (222, fig 5) are present on the L-shaped arms 22 to further engage the lugs 12 which have recesses 122 for this purpose.</p> |
