PURPOSE: A luggage blocking member of a vehicle is provided to prevent a luggage loaded in a trunk room from entering a vehicle room and to obtain the effect of absorbing a shock on the luggage by installing the blocking member in the vicinity of a joint portion between a center floor panel in a vehicle room and a trunk floor panel in the trunk room. CONSTITUTION: In a vehicle of hatchback type, a center floor panel(41) in a vehicle room(1) and a trunk floor panel(42) in a trunk room(2) are joined together at a joint portion(43). A cross member, i.e., rigid member(46) for provision of rigidity is installed in order to extend laterally at the underside of the center floor panel(42). The cross member(46) prevents the center floor panel(41) and the trunk floor panel(42) from being deformed due to vehicle vibration. A blocking member(44) is installed to extend toward laterally, i.e., left and right wheels in the vicinity of the joint portion(43) between the center floor panel(41) in the vehicle room(1) and the trunk floor panel(42) in the trunk room(2). The opposite ends of the blocking member(44) are fixed on the center floor panel(41) in the vicinity of rear left and right wheels. An intermediate portion of the blocking member(44) is spaced upwardly from the panels(41,42) and convexly bent toward the trunk room(2).
