Culinary aid comprising 25-39% fat, 20-70% flavorings and 5-50% binders having a plastic viscosity of 1-20 Pa.s and a yield point of 0.5-20 Pa at 37-43 degrees C. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a process for producing a moldable culinary aid, comprising: mixing 5-50 parts binders and 20-70 parts flavorings with 25-39 parts molten fat at 37-43 degrees C to obtain a mixture with a plastic viscosity of 1-20 Pa.s and a yield point of 0.5-20 Pa; pouring the mixture into a mold; and cooling the mixture until it has hardened; (2) a process for producing a moldable culinary aid, comprising: (a) mixing 5-50 parts binders and 20-70 parts flavorings with 25-39 parts molten fat at 37-43 degrees C to obtain a mixture with a plastic viscosity of 1-20 Pa.s and a yield point of 0.5-20 Pa; (b) pouring the mixture into a mold; (c) solidifying the mixture by cooling; (d) preparing a second mixture as in step (a); (e) pouring the second mixture into the mold containing the solidified mixture; and (f) solidifying the product by cooling. |
