PURPOSE: A control method for starting a vehicle safely after parking or stopping is provided to prevent accidents and failure of a brake system by alarming to a driver and regulating the fuel injection amount in operating a parking brake or placing obstacles around the vehicle in starting the vehicle. CONSTITUTION: Operation of a parking brake is detected(S2) in placing a gear at 1-range or R-range(S1), and an alarm is sounded in operating the parking brake(S3). The position of the gear is detected in releasing the parking brake(S4), and distance from a front obstacle is measured at the 1-range(S5). Distance from a rear obstacle is measured at the R-range(S6), and measured distance is compared with the reference value(S7). Fuel injection is controlled for idling(S9) in stepping on an accelerator pedal(S8). The obstacle is indicated with alarming, and the distance from the obstacle is displayed(S10). An idling release switch is detected to be turned on(S11), and idling control of fuel injection is released in turning on the idling release switch(S12). Accidents and failure of the brake are prevented with alarming and controlling the fuel injection amount in operating the brake or placing the obstacle around the vehicle in starting the vehicle. |
