APPARATUS FOR COOLING RING OF FUNNEL FOR CATHODE RAY TUBE

PURPOSE: An apparatus for cooling a ring of a funnel for cathode ray tube is provided to prevent thermal deformation of the ring and a molding error of the funnel by controlling efficiently the temperature of the ring. CONSTITUTION: An air path is formed in a bottom face of a ring adaptor(16). The air path is connected with a space(14a) of a ring(14). An air inflow hole(32) is formed on a side of the ring adaptor(16). The air inflow hole(32) is used for supplying cooling air. A plurality of air exhaust holes(34) are formed in an upper surface of the ring adaptor(16). The air exhaust hole(34) is connected with the air inflow hole(32). An air supply portion(36) is connected with the air inflow hole(32) by an air supply tube(38). A regulator(40) is installed in the air supply tube(38). The air supply portion(36) is operated if the temperature of a funnel is higher than a predetermined value.
