METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR APPLYING SOFT COMBINE BY USING PHYSICAL LAYER RECODING IN ASYNCHRONOUS MOBILE COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for applying soft combine by using physical layer recoding in an asynchronous mobile communication system are provided to prevent a coding offset error by improving a soft combine performance. CONSTITUTION: A demultiplexing portion(210) is used for demultiplexing a received data symbol block. A rate matching portion(220) is used for matching a transmission rate for the demultiplexed data symbol block. A channel decoding portion(230) is used for performing a channel decoding operation for the data symbol block. A desegmentation/concatenation portion(240) is used for recovering the decoded data of the channel decoding portion(230) to a transmission block. A CRC check portion(250) is used for performing a CRC check for transmission block. A reverse concatenation/segmentation portion(260) is used for performing a reverse concatenation/segmentation process for an error transmission block and a retransmitting block. A channel encoding portion(270) is used for performing a channel encoding operation for the transmission block. A buffer(280) is used for storing the encoded transmission block of the channel encoding portion(270). A soft combine portion(290) is used for performing a soft combine process for the stored transmission block of the buffer(280) and the retransmitting block.
