PURPOSE: A switch for a hot spot traffic is provided to optimize efficiency and switching capacity on switching element design by embodying only switching element series included in an other network having a hot spot characteristic as high-speed switching elements to which a speed-up function is applied. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of switching elements(200) perform the switching operation of data under the control of a switching control unit(100). Only switching element series included in another network having a hot spot characteristic are composed as high-speed switching elements to which a speed-up function is applied. A plurality of switching elements(200) have a switching structure with a cross/bar state.
