METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR MANAGING PART OF ASSEMBLY

PURPOSE: A method and a system for managing a part of an assembly are provided to classify and manage a BOM(Bill Of Material) according to the structure change and to manage respective parts of the assembly by successively arranging respective parts in an assembling order. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises the steps of registering a plurality of product models to a server from a user computer(S1), registering respective part forming respective assemblies of the registered product models to the server from the user computer(S3) and classifying respective parts registered to the server into a fixed part group and a variable part group according to the common usage for respective assemblies(S5). The parts of respective part groups are arranged by an assembly order completing the assembly(S7).
