PURPOSE: A fly back transformer having a diode protection function is provided to attenuate a discharge voltage while discharging anode voltages instantly, thereby preventing rectifying diodes of the second coil from being destroyed. CONSTITUTION: The first and the second coils(L1, L2) abandon a pulse from a horizontal output unit(10) by power applied from a fly back transformer(200), and transform the abandoned pulse. High pressure rectifying diodes(D1-D7) rectify the abandoned pulse, and supply anode voltages. A focus unit(250) variably divides a voltage of a middle tap(MT) of the second coil in a predetermined size, and supplies a focus voltage. A diode protection resistor(R) is connected to a line for connecting the middle tap with the focus unit, to attenuate the focus voltage and a high pressure discharge voltage incoming to the rectifying diodes(D1, D2) through the middle tap.
