PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display and a method of fabricating the liquid crystal display are provided to enable rubbing of an alignment film in a uniform direction by changing alignment film coating regions at the corners of a liquid crystal display. CONSTITUTION: A liquid crystal display includes the first and second substrates(41,42), an alignment film(44), a seal pattern(45), and a liquid crystal layer. The alignment film is formed on the first and second substrates. The corners of the alignment film are protruded. The seal pattern is formed along the alignment film, having a predetermined distance from the alignment film. The liquid crystal layer is formed between the first and second substrates.
