The device has a branch member (11,11') connected to the exhaust system (2) of an IC engine, to branch-off exhaust pulsation. It also has a modulator head (15) to radiate airborne sound into the engine space, dependent upon exhaust pulsation. The head is formed as a resonance body, and pref. consists of a support frame and a membrane tensioned in it. It is at least partially placed inside the engine chamber and/or the vehicle interior. |
