PURPOSE: A structure of head cover of hermetic type compressor is provided to prevent leakage of refrigerant between a low pressure side and a high pressure side of the head cover. CONSTITUTION: A structure includes a head cover(30); and a stopper(40). The head cover has a space divided into a low pressure side(30b) where refrigerant is taken in and a high pressure side(30t) where refrigerant is discharged by a partition(30p) and is made of steel by deformation processing or a metal plate by press finishing. The stopper is installed on a rear surface of the head cover to fix an intake muffler to the low pressure side. The stopper is formed to be U-shaped and fixed to the rear surface of the head cover by spot welding.
