PURPOSE: A belt tensioner for a robot driving motor is provided to control tension of a belt transferring power of a step motor through a value of a torque wrench. CONSTITUTION: A belt tensioner of a robot driving motor comprises a motor supporter(36) installed on a base plate(34) to install a step motor(32); a tension controller moving the motor supporter by being mounted on a side portion of the base plate; plural long holes formed on the motor support by being combined to the base plate through a fixing bolt(38); ball screw shaft(42) rotationally connected to a side portion of the motor supporter; a guide unit(44) guiding movement of the ball screw shaft; and a torque wrench(46) installed on a side portion of the ball screw shaft. Thereby, the belt tensioner of the robot driving motor controls tension of a belt transferring power of a step motor through a value of the torque wrench.
