PURPOSE: A device for gathering pieces of thread for a washing machine is provided to effectively gather pieces of thread generated during the washing process, and to have an influence on the operation of the washing machine. CONSTITUTION: A device for gathering pieces of thread for a washing machine includes a casing upper part(10), a casing lower part(20), nets(14), an induction hole(32), and a check valve(40). The casing upper part and the casing lower part are coupled with each other and have a plurality of through holes(12). The nets are mounted inside of the through holes of the casing upper part and the casing lower part. The induction hole is formed in the front surfaces of the lower ends of the casing upper and lower parts. The check valve is mounted in the induction hole to prevent water from being discharged through the induction hole. The device has a shape corresponding to a round edge part of the lower portion of the wash tub and is mounted on the edge part. |
