PURPOSE: An elliptical constant velocity bicycle is provided to form the uniform angular velocity, and to maximize efficiency of aerobic exercise by performing uniform elliptical motion with a universal joint, an elliptical gear and an eccentric gear. CONSTITUTION: An elliptical constant velocity bicycle(1) has a pedal(12) driving with the angular velocity corresponding to the need of the human body, and an oval track. A saddle frame(4) having a saddle(5) is installed in the upper part of base frames(2,3). A crank(7) is installed in a shaft(7a), and is connected to a pedal link(6). The end of the pedal link is connected to an arc motion link(8), and the arc motion link is installed in the saddle frame. A bevel gear(9) is mounted in the shaft, and a bevel gear(10) is connected to a universal joint(11) of the shaft. The end of the shaft is connected to a flywheel(14) to apply load to a chain connecting unit(15). An elliptical gear is installed in the shaft, and connected to an elliptical gear. The elliptical gear is connected to the flywheel by the chain connecting unit. Efficiency of aerobic exercise is improved with performing the uniform elliptical motion by using the universal joint, elliptical gears or eccentric gears.
