PURPOSE: A flat display device is provided to stably install a sealing cap by improving a connecting part of a sealing cap and a sealant wherein the sealing cap is used to shield an organic matter layer forming part from an outside. CONSTITUTION: The flat display device includes a glass substrate(110). An anode layer(130) is provided at one surface of the glass substrate(110). An organic phosphor layer(140) is formed on the anode layer(130) and emits a light. A cathode layer(150) is formed on the organic phosphor layer(140). A sealant(170) is installed at one surface of the glass substrate(110). A sealing cap(160) is adhered to one side of the sealant(170) and shields installing parts of the anode layer(130), the cathode layer(130), and the organic phosphor layer(140) from an outside. Uneven portions(161,171) are formed at a connecting part of the sealing cap(160) and the sealant(170) in order to improve a bond strength of the sealing cap(160) and the sealant(170).
