PURPOSE: A mcpherson strut type of suspension system having a stabilizer bar installed at rear portion of an arm is provided to control deformation against front and rear or right and left load conveniently, and to reduce impact at a head-on collision by arranging the stabilizer bar in the rear part of the arm. CONSTITUTION: A stabilizer bar(12) is used as a tension rod in a mcpherson suspension, and connected to an arm(11) to restrict rolling of a vehicle. The end of the stabilizer bar is connected to the rear part of the arm, and the middle part of the stabilizer bar is fixed in the lower part of a side frame(13) in the vehicle. The stabilizer bar is arranged in the rear part of the arm in the mcpherson suspension. Load is supported with using the stabilizer bar as the tension rod, and front and rear load is supported with the compression rod. The length of the stabilizer bar is reduced, and the efficiently is increased with modifying the arrangement and the supporting structure of the stabilizer bar. Deformation is prevented with mounting the stabilizer bar in the rear part of the arm at a collision.
