PURPOSE: A fan clutch by a wax is provided to improve productivity by simplifying structure of the fan clutch and to reduce loss of power by engaging a rotor with a cover. CONSTITUTION: A fan clutch by using a wax comprises a rotor(1) rotating by being connected to an engine; a cover(2) rotating while receiving rotational force from the rotor; plural fans(3) combined to an outer circumference of the cover; a space unit(4) formed on a combining portion between the rotor and the cover; a wax(5) expanding or contacting according to temperature by being formed in the space unit; plates(7,8) contacted to both sides of the wax; a first frictional unit(9) mounted on the cover; a second frictional unit(10) transferring the rotational force of the rotor into the cover; and a spring(11) absorbing excess extension force of the wax. Thereby, the fan clutch by using the wax reduces loss of power by connecting the rotor to the cover.
