PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an in vivo indwelling stent which is provided with flexibility in a vertical direction concerning an axial direction and by which a cylindrical shape in the whole stent is kept against extension/contraction in the axial direction. SOLUTION: The stent 1 is constituted of circular units 4 having first waveform circular bodies 12a which are formed to be circular by waveform elements, second waveform circular bodies 12b which are arranged in the axial direction of the stent 1 to permit each chevron part to be close to each valley part in the first waveform circular bodies 12a and formed to be circular by the waveform elements and more than one connection parts 6 for connecting the valley parts of the first circular bodies 12a to the chevron parts of the second circular bodies 12b. The circular units 4 are provided with connection parts 7 which are arrayed in the axial direction of the stent 1 so as to connect the adjacent circular units at each connection part forming part. The connection parts 7 are arranged at facing positions to each unit 4 or arranged to have nearly same angle concerning the center axis of the stent. |
