TREATMENT METHOD AND TREATMENT EQUIPMENT FOR EXCESS ANESTHETIC GAS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for treating excess anesthetic gas containing volatile anesthetic gas and nitrous oxide discharged from an operating room and a treatment equipment for the same. SOLUTION: The excess anesthetic gas containing the volatile anesthetic gas and the nitrous oxide is introduced into an adsorption cylinder packed with an adsorbent to adsorb away the volatile anesthetic gas included in the excess anesthetic gas and thereafter this gas is introduced into a catalyst layer packed with a nitrous oxide cracking catalyst where the nitrous oxide is cracked to nitrogen and oxygen.
