PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical care appliance for body embedding which is excellent in an antithrombotic property and histocompatibility and is capable of exhibiting these excellent characteristics stably for a long period after indwelling in the body. SOLUTION: This medical care appliance is constituted by coating at least portions of the surface of a medical care appliance body 1 with a high-molecular film material 2 consisting of a polymer having at least one functional group selected from carboxylic group and carboxylic acid anhydride group.
