PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that the compatibility of high cleaning performance with prolonging of a period when the high performance is maintained in cracking and reproducing by a photocatalyst is impossible. SOLUTION: A cleaning filter 5 with both zeolite and the photocatalyst is disposed on an upstream side where contaminant concentration is high and a cleaning filter 6 with both activated carbon and the photocatalyst is disposed downstream. The greater part of the air contaminants are cleaned by the zeolite and the cleaning performance may be made additionally higher by the downstream activated carbon. In addition, the photocatalyst is made active by irradiation with the UV rays from a light source 7 and, since the zeolite and the activated carbon are both sufficiently regenerated, the high-performance air cleaning for a long period is made possible. |
