PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve discriminating easiness of each a switch operation member in the switch operation member of a reel for fishing. SOLUTION: A counter case 4 installed on the upper part of the reel body 1 of a reel is equipped with a display composed of a liquid crystal display and the switch operation member 6 arranged around the display. The switch operation member 6 has a speed change switch and a motor switch vertically arranged in a row on the right of the display and a bottom memo switch SM (an example of the first switch operation member) and a mode switch MD (an example of the second switch operation member) vertically arranged in a row on the left thereof. The bottom memo switch SM and the mode switch MD mutually have different touch feelings by being made of different materials and having different surface roughnesses.
