PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cyclone dust collector for vacuum cleaner, which generates no back flow of dirt even in cleaning in any posture, does not degrade in dust collecting performance, and has no fear of falling dust and breaking the grill in dumping caught dirt. SOLUTION: This cyclone dust collector comprises a cyclone barrel equipped on the extension tube of a vacuum cleaner to generate eddy current of sucked air and a cyclone housing connected to the cyclone barrel to guide the eddy current to separate sucked dirt. The cyclone housing in a cylinder shape includes a cyclone cover whose one end is a slant end closed by a spiral face and the other end is opened and connected with the cyclone barrel and a dirt recovery cylinder whose one end is a blocked cylinder and the other end has a grade corresponding to the slant end of the cyclone cover and is connected with the lower part of the slant end of the cyclone cover.
