APPARATUS FOR MEASURING REPULSIVE ELASTICITY OF RUBBER USING ULTRASONIC WAVE

PURPOSE: An apparatus for measuring a repulsive elasticity of a rubber is provided to reduce defective ratio and measurement error by measuring repulsive elastic modulus of rubber in an accurate and easy manner. CONSTITUTION: A support shaft(2) is mounted on a measurement table(1), and a lower fixing table(4) with a central hole(3) is mounted at the lower portion of the support shaft in such a manner that the lower fixing table is horizontal to the measurement table. A rubber sample(6) is disposed under the central hole of the lower fixing table. An upper fixing table(5) is mounted at the upper portion of the support shaft in such a manner that the upper fixing table is opposed to the lower fixing table. An electromagnet(7) is attached to the outer bottom surface of the upper fixing table so as to catch a steel ball(6') falling toward the central hole of the lower fixing table. An ultrasonic sensor unit(8) is mounted to the side surface of the electromagnet, and a connector unit(9) is mounted on the upper fixing table and connected to the electromagnet and the ultrasonic sensor. The connector unit is connected to a control unit(10), and the control unit is connected to a computer(11) through an interface unit(10').
