The present invention provides a protein (ADPI-41) identified in brain tissue, compositions comprising the protein, including vaccines and antibodies, which are immunospecific for the protein. The use of the protein in the diagnosis, screening, treatment and prophylaxis of Alzheimer's disease is also provided. |
