PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device for fluorescent image display, which displays an image including information relating to the shape of a measured part together with information based on fluorescent light reflecting the tissue characteristics of the measured part to reduce a sense of incompatibility of the observer. SOLUTION: Excitement light L2 is irradiated on a measured part 50 to image fluorescent images by different two wave lengths based on the intensity of fluorescent light L3 generated by the measured part 50. White light L1 is irradiated on the measured part 50 as reference light to image a reflection light image based on the intensity of the reflection light L4 reflected by the measured part 50. Hue is assigned to calculated images based on divided values of pixel values of fluorescent images in the different two wave lengths to generate a tissue characteristics image to mainly show tissue characteristics of the measured part 50. Brightness is assigned to reflection light images to generate a tissue shape image to mainly show the tissue shape of the measured part 50. The tissue characteristics image and the tissue shape image are integrated to generate a synthetic image to display the synthetic image.
