PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor-driven tool having a cord not disturbing the work. SOLUTION: A cord lock member 30 capable of locking an extension cord 40 connected to a motor-driven tool body 10 is movably connected to the motor- driven tool body 10 through a ball joint 35. The cord lock member 30 locking the extension cord connected to the motor-driven tool body 10 can be moved with the extension cord 40. The extension cord 40 is flexibly moved in all directions to the motor-driven tool body 10 in accordance with the posture of a worker using the motor-driven tool, whereby a problem that the extension cord 40 is caught by articles around the cord 40 can be solved.
