PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop a construction not only capable of recovering an eelgrass field but also capable of being applied even to a sea area in which the oceanographic condition is severe and the recovery of the eelgrass field is comparatively difficult. SOLUTION: This construction for preparing the eelgrass field has a net-like body having holes through which the grass body of the eelgrass can pass, bored therein, and has an upper part construction 10 formed so as to have a height at which a small amount of accumulated drift sand covers the upper surface, and having a bottom-less box shape. A lower part construction 50 of the net-like body, capable of receiving the weight of the accumulated sand and having holes around which underground stems may coil, bored therein, is arranged under the upper part construction 10. An intermediate part construction 20 having wall bodies having flow velocity-attenuating functions suitable for catching the drift sand by confronting waves, and stood thereon is arranged between the upper and lower part constructions 10 and 50, and a seeding bag 30 including eelgrass seeds therein is arranged at a part of the intermediate part construction 20. A plate-shaped stabilizing construction 40 for preventing the scour at the edge part is arranged at the periphery. The upper and lower part constructions 10 and 50 are constituted by forming them out of a metallic material naturally corroding and disappearing in seawater.
