PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for a urethane roller wherein there are not such problems as the entrainment of air, the unevenness in the density (hardness), and the ununiformity in the cell, and there is no local unevenness in the physical property, and which can be suitably used as various kinds of roller members, and a die for the urethane roller which can be used for the manufacturing method. SOLUTION: This manufacturing method is applied to the urethane roller equipped with a shaft 6 and a urethane foam layer which is provided on the outer periphery of the shaft 6 by integral molding. Under a state wherein the shaft 6 penetrates the center line of a cylindrical die 1, an unexpanded urethane mixed liquid 7 is injected in a foaming chamber 2 which is provided in the vicinity of one end section of the cylindrical die 1. Then, the unexpanded urethane mixed liquid 7 is expanded. Then, the inside of the cylindrical die 1 is filled with the urethane foam under the expanded state by the expansion pressure of the urethane foam from the start of the expansion, through an introduction path 3. |
