PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a working cassette simplified in its internal structure by reducing the size of the working cassette and reducing the number of part items in the working cassette attached and detached to and from a working apparatus for sewing. SOLUTION: This working cassette is provided with a storing part 90 for storing a thread T and a thread holding mechanism 92 for holding the thread T from the storing part 90. Since the thread holding mechanism 92 is movably constructed to the storing part 90, after the thread T from the storing part 90 is held by the thread holding mechanism 92, the machining cassette 5 is mounted on the apparatus body of the working apparatus, and when the thread holding mechanism 92 is vertically moved to the storing part 90, the thread T from the storing part 90 is delivered by a designated length while being held by the thread holding mechanism 92.
