The invention relates to a system and a device for providing online assistance for the operation of a computer-controlled machine. According to the invention, a basic window (1) comprising basic function selection fields (9i) for operation of said machine is represented on a screen. The operational units of the machine are connected to a control unit which exchanges data with a connected computer which graphically represents data on a screen with the aid of a process control system in order to display and issue instructions. The aim of the invention is to offer a user simple online assistance with regard to selected operational steps of a specific machine which can be accessed at any time, any place and during any amount of time, so that when a basic function selection field (9i, 11) within the system, at least one video start field is represented displaying an information file in the form of image and/ or sound data after actuation has occurred. |
