The invention concerns a brake booster for motor vehicle, whereof the housing comprises a sealed annular partition formed by a thin metal skirt (28) and a rubber diaphragm (30) and mounted at its internal periphery on a piston (18), and tie rods (38) which link the two end walls of the housing and extend tightly into orifices (40) of the skirt (28). The invention is characterised by breaks (48) in the contact zone between the internal periphery (36) of the skirt (28) and the piston (18) at the orifices (40), to reduce concentration of stresses between the orifices (40) and the skirt internal periphery (36). |
