PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bumper structure having a high energy absorbing efficiency and capable of increasing the freedom degree of design and a layout of a bumper. SOLUTION: This bumper structure comprises at least a pair of right and left bumper stays 3 and 3 installed protrusively in the longitudinal direction of a vehicle and an impact absorbing member 14 for absorbing an impact installed between body side mounting members and a bumper facsia 9 positioned apart from the body side mounting members. The impact absorbing member 14 comprises an outer panel member 15 installed extensively along the inner surface 9a lateral direction of the bumper facsia 9 and having an outer deformed face 15a dwelled to the outside of the vehicle and an inner panel member 16 supporting support leg parts 15b installed at both end parts of the outer panel member 15, installed extensively along the lateral direction of the vehicle, and having an inner deformed face 16a tensely installed between the body side mounting members.
