-24- By this equipment, a cage suitable particularly for physically handicapped passengers can be selected in a lift group controlled by means of group control. For this purpose, call-registering equipments arranged on the storeys display a key, by means of which a switching circuit (20) can be activated. In this case, the switching circuit (20) is connected at the input side with a load store (13) and with a store (RAM1.2) storing the calls for the target storeys, wherein in the absence of an alighting call and for a load which is smaller than a certain load limit value, a first and a second condition for the selection of a cage are fulfilled. The switching circuit (20) is furthermore connected at the input side with the output of a comparator (17), which compares the travelling time of the cage to the call entry storey with the time needed by a physically handicapped person for the path between the actuated call-registering equipment and the shaft door of the lift concerned, wherein a third condition for the selection is fulfilled when the travelling time is greater. When all conditions are fulfilled, the cage selected in such a manner can participate in the call allocation procedure.
